My name is Luke Magnusson, and I am a 20 year-old student at Moody Bible Institute currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Electronic Media. I have a friendly, positive, and assertive personality and I am proud of my ability to work with a variety of people and to take initiative. I know what hard work is, and I know how to do it. In all these things, I try to live my life to reflect the character of Jesus Christ.

Education Technology Services Event technician, Chicago, IL — 2010-present
Work using a variety of technology and equipment. Practiced my ability to comprehend quickly and to work effectively while both learning and using expensive sound and video equipment. Set up and take down daily events and work in small teams. Exercise daily respect for authority and obedience while also thinking ahead and taking initiative. Work often under time constraints and continue to show a calm demeanor in stressful situations.
R&j seafoods Bowman, Kasilof, Alaska — June 2010-August 2010
Worked as a Bowman during the 2010 Salmon season in Alaska. Worked in all times and in all seasons of the weather. I did nearly every form of manual labor, from filling hundreds of sandbags, pulling miles worth of rope, to assisting with the construction of a porch, nearly the entire job was manual labor. Grew in my understanding of finishing well and reinforced my commitments to integrity, honesty, hard work, respect for authority, and positive attitude. Learned much about Alaska with its simplistic and rewarding style of living.
Rudino’s Pizza and grinders — Jan 2009-Present (over breaks)
Helped start a small family business from the ground up. Extensive hours spent in both the back and front of house. Took phone calls, dealt with an array of typical customer complaints, and acted in appropriate manner of integrity. Talked to numerous customers, remembering them as they returned, and built friendships with them. Learned under an incredible work ethic from my manager, and strive to be excellent in my work.

Video: Advanced skills and experience at Final Cut Pro Advanced training in film directing, editing, and production. Design experience in the Adobe Creative Suite CS3, with an emphasis in After Effects. Film experience with Cannon 5d Mark II, Cannon Gl-2, Cannon xl-2, and Cannon XH-A1.
Sound: Experience and training in recording, editing, and producing with Apple Logic Studio Pro, and Apple Soundtrack Pro. Intermediate knowledge and experience with sound mixing.
